Can I cancel or change my service at any time?
You can cancel or make changes to your Kymodo SEO services at any time, but, as with most companies, we do require 30 days’ notice for completely cancelling accounts.
How can I update my billing details?
To change any of your invoice details just email the update to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll confirm the changes with you as soon as possible.
Is direct debiting available for my bill?
Yes! Our direct debiting provider is EziDebit. You can register an account for free online.
If you are paying by credit card a 2% fee applies. Direct debits do not incur these fees.
What other fees does Kymodo charge?
We pride ourselves on having no hidden fees and charges. We will quote you the exact price of your SEO package when you first sign with Kymodo, and this price will stay the same unless you decide to add upgrades such as AdWords, social media advertising, or premium web development services to your package.
Does AdWords affect my SEO rankings?
AdWords does not affect your SEO directly, although it will affect it indirectly if your AdWords campaign directs more traffic to your website through clicks on your ads.
If new people are coming to your website, clicking through more pages, and spending time on each page they visit, Google will positively incorporate these engagement signals into how it ranks your page.
However, if people who come to your website leave very quickly, or do not click through to many pages, Google will interpret this as a negative ranking signal and adjust your place in the search results accordingly.
What changes will Kymodo make to my website?
Your SEO account manager will review and amend various components of your website to maximise its relevance to key phrases, searchability, and domain strength.
Our objective here is to control the search engine’s understanding of your website, in accordance with the search engine’s guidelines.
A wide range of changes could be implemented, and may include:
- Changes to your site’s layout to ensure it is responsive (mobile-friendly)
- Creation of new pages and updates to the content of old pages throughout your site
- Removal of duplicate content
- Landing page titles updates
- URL optimisations
- Ensuring there’s only one canonical version of each URL on your website
- Title tag and meta descriptions optimisation
- Changes to the appearance of your website to make it easy to navigate and simple, clean and professional looking. This can include changes to page structures to place the most relevant information “above the fold”.
- Changes to style options including font and colouring
- Fixing any internal errors on your website
- Addition of conversion optimisation elements (contact forms, calls to action, etc.)
- Addition of relevant social media thumbnails
The adjustments that we make to your website will be based on your business’ needs, the current state of your website and the SEO package you have chosen.
Within what time frame should I expect to start seeing results?
Our SEO campaigns are structured to get the fastest results possible. However, investing in an ethical Search Engine Optimisation package is a long-term marketing strategy. A strategy that follows the rules and is not likely to incur any penalties from search engines will take at least 12 months to start seeing results.
During this time you can rest assured knowing that you can leave at any time and take the digital assets we’ve created with you.
Can you guarantee that my website reaches the first position on page one on Google?
No. You should be wary of any SEO company offering such guarantees. Promising a number one ranking is against Google’s guidelines:
“Beware of SEOs that claim to guarantee rankings, allege a “special relationship” with Google, or advertise a “priority submit” to Google. There is no priority submit for Google. In fact, the only way to submit a site to Google directly is through our Add URL page or by submitting a Sitemap and you can do this yourself at no cost whatsoever.”
Can I get my money back if I’m not satisfied?
No, we do not offer refunds.
We do, however, keep a detailed log of every task that contributes to your campaign, and the time spent on these tasks.
Our clients are encouraged to request a breakdown of the budget spent and work completed at any time. If there is a genuine dispute about receiving the work that we have charged you for, we always take any steps necessary to rectify this problem.
And, if you inadvertently incorporate black hat techniques into your campaign, you may find yourself destroying all the work you’ve put in overnight.
- Weekly traffic reports that compare your results to the week prior and;
- A monthly traffic and ranking report
Plus, we’re always available to discuss any of the finer details of your report and campaign strategy.
- How old your domain is
- Any previous SEO or AdWords work done
- Any Google penalties you may have incurred
- Any potential keywords you believe your audience is searching for
- Your product and service locations
- The names of your current competitors
- The business objectives of your website
- The CMS you use
- Whether you’re interested in AdWords or social media marketing
Whether you prefer email reports or face-to-face meetings
We run SEO campaigns according to a three phase plan. As a general rule, the first priority we have is fixing bad link profiles. This is then followed by optimisation of onsite elements to improve performance and functionality, before content and style adjustments are added.
Your conversion events could include:
- Clicking a submit button on a contact form
- Landing on a thank you page after sending a submission
- Downloading your resources or marketing materials
- Spending a certain amount of time on a page
What is AdWords Management?
AdWords management is the targeted improvement of your AdWords campaign in order to get the most out of your advertising expenditure.
AdWords management is the use of Google’s Pay-Per-Click advertising platform to attract qualified traffic to your website. Kymodo’s team of digital marketing professionals will set up and implement an advertising campaign for your business that has the best opportunity to acquire traffic that will convert. Your business will then appear in the ads at the top of the search results.
AdWords management is an in-depth and technical process. It involves both the optimisation of your AdWords account and Conversion Rate Optimisation to ensure your business makes the most out of the purchase-ready traffic coming to your website. Depending on your business goals, AdWords management may also incorporate display marketing and remarketing across Google’s Partner Network.
Is the AdWords Management fee different to my AdWords fee?
Yes. We charge you an AdWords management fee as the cost of the strategic improvements made to your AdWords campaign by our account managers. Your AdWords fees are the costs that Google charges to place your advertisements in the search engine results.
What monthly reports will I receive?
Your AdWords monthly report will be a snapshot of how your AdWords campaign is progressing. This will include information detailing the number of impressions you are receiving, your cost per click, and your return on investment.
How often can I speak with my account manager?
Your account manager is only ever a click or phone call away. We understand that keeping our clients up-to-date is important, which is why we strive to maintain an open-door communication policy.
Our set-up fee covers this initial research for your campaign (including keyword research) and general account set-up.
We prefer to keep this set-up fee separate from the management fee because we want to hit the ground running with your management budget from the very first month, and avoid confusion about where your spend is going.
Whether call tracking is an appropriate tool for your campaign will depend on the type of business you operate, your campaign goals, and the type of package you purchase.
- Search Advertising
- Google Analytics IQ, and;
It is important to know, however, that the amount of money you spend on AdWords has no effect on your Google rankings.
